Who we are

We give thousands of poor people in developing countries a way out of poverty by supporting micro-projects and integrated programs that produce immediate results and have long-lasting effects.

We enable local communities to take charge of their own development by improving their living conditions, both sustainably and with respect for the environment.

During our long history, we have supported hundreds of projects around the world, covering fields as diverse as education, agriculture, craftwork, lifestock, vocational training, solar energy and water supply.

We support small NGOs or local communities who do not have access to funding from major donors.

eu can aid! is run entirely on a voluntary basis, and funded through membership (mainly EU staff) fees and donations. Thanks to the voluntary work of its members and the logistical support it receives from the European Institutions, eu can aid! manages to keep its administrative costs down to roughly 3% of its annual budget.
